Though spanning several different theory domains and priorities for the
movement, all the resources listed on this page understand the idea of women
being a distinct and oppressed class in our current patriarchal
culture. Each of the following groups or websites works in their own
specific ways to end gender based oppression, and violence against
women perpetrated by men.
The sites on this page all have varied and sometimes divergent approaches to
racial justice and racial understanding. They write about, discuss, and
usually but not always have a personal or educational connection to,
issues of race, ethnicity, and racism in North America. All actively
work towards a goal of eradicating racist and white supremacist
attitude and action.
These organizations and web sites write from the perspective that for most people, sexual orientations and gender identify be viewed on a human continuum of diverse sexuality and gender deportment. They further believe that all are entitled to nothing less than full rights and access ascribed to all citizens.
I intentionally place the transphobia website first in this list to center the idea and demonstrate my sincere belief that the mainstream lesbian and gay community must offer full acceptance and support to our trans brothers and sisters
Lucky for me, and I suppose ultimately lucky for you, the initial sickly sweet phase of falling in love has never lasted all that long for me. Though it would be a shame to not capitalize on it when it is here. Oh come on, this video has to make you at least smile. And well, thank the higher universe we are long past the seventies style era.

specifically how much longer did you say this phase would be? :)
Oh Jesus! I need to make a trip back and slap you. That song is anti you; now I'm scared. Don't join a cult!
Did you and the new hunka hunka love happen to dine at Fire On The East Side the other night? Because I thought I recognized your cute little tush when you sat down. We were just leaving and I would have come over, but you boys were deep in a conversation that no doubt was sweeter than my dessert....so I passed. Because really, I think I might have overwhelmed him if I had sprung my halting English, sultry Spanish gypsy routine on the poor man all at once. Though he was up there on the hotty appeal.
Paint the scene? Oh I suppose, if you insist. Across the fire lit table, Al: Classically handsome, he's the Irish Spring boy, a type every mother loves. Across the table; is the date (and smell) every mother fears. Dark, intense, he's a Brute man: Whatever his name is.
Fine, I will stop penning cheesy send ups of Gordon Merrick lines for you to roll your eyes at.
Hey Irish Spring Boy! Haha.
What were they on? I've seen the same blank stare on the faces of religious cult followers. Perhaps, Coke has been the "god" all along. ;-)
OK, I'm going against the flow here; but I find this honeymoon phase to be endearing. The coke ad? (Maybe just a tad over-the-top) That from a woman who spent 2 yrs. writing about love and romance. (I read a few posts now and cringe)
Love is wonderful! I know your readers will follow you right through the honeymoon phase. Enjoy it!
;-)

PS. I kind of miss it. So I'll enjoy yours.
